Still Life, iBooks and Mac OS X 10.2.5

A bug has been identified that occurs on iBooks with Mac OS X 10.2.5. When dragging and dropping images with the OpenGL previewer enabled Still Life will unexpectedly quit or the machine may kernel panic.

The bad news is this bug is in the OpenGL implementation of the OS and cannot be fixed by Granted Software. The good news is it is expected to be fixed in the next Mac OS X release from Apple.

In the meantime, users experiencing this problem should use the Quartz previewer and renderer. For information on how to switch the previewer and renderer see this FAQ entry.
